Colton's Favorite Past time
Our little guy in the bath tub! I couldn't resist. He knows what "bath time" means and will get excited when we mention it. He got some new bath toys for christmas and since then he has started to resist getting out of the bath tub. Even after I drain all the water out he still wants to stay in, he is so silly but so cute!
Go Vikings!
Colton had a good time as well because he got to see Daddy and all of his friends at the game! Colton loves balls so getting to watch the big boys dribble and shoot a ball is very exciting! To top of the expericence he has so many friends to play with and sure enough he managed to get some of Deanna's popcorn (the major highlight of the night)!
Below is Mr Coach Deatherage himself looking as handsome as ever! Way to go Babe!

Our Wobbly Walker
Colton took his first steps on Thursday December 20, 2007. Since then he has made about 15 I think for his record and then resorts to crawling because it is much faster! I did finally catch a couple though on camera! They are "classic" first steps. I could watch this clip over and over.

Sledding
After I got to go sledding with my nephew Levi in Great Falls, MT I have had the fever to go! I tried to plan for a big group of us to go but with the holiday plans we decided to cancel. My sweet spouse Brian knew I really
wanted to go so he rallied the troops and after Colton's nap we were off to Idaho City for some sledding. We decided to take Sugar she stayed close. I think she intimidated some of the other patrons on the mountain but besides that she did great! Better than Colton actually. He couldn't decide what to think about sledding. I think it might of scared him a bit and his little cheeks were wind burned. So after the fourth time down the mountain (talk about a workout packing a 26 lb toddler up a mountain) Brian went up to the top where it was the steepest and flew down. Colton enjoyed seeing his daddy coming at us but didn't enjoy the ride to the car. He was done.
This is him after sledding. He still has the look on his face like "What the @$@# was that?" I still think he looks precious with his little red nose and rosey cheeks! He was a trooper.

Colton Shoots and almost scores!
I love watching Colton shoot his basketball at his hoop. He is so determined! I can't wait for him to make a basket! I will go nuts. Way to go Coltrain, keep up the good work!
New Years Party
Colton is perfecting his skills and getting in a few warm up shots before his cousin Kashus came over. They love to shoot hoops together! Great shot big guy!
Colton is set for the big party!
Mommy and Colton in party hats. I was trying to reproduce the News Years Celebration I remembered having as a kid. I invited my family and planned on having the traditional cheese ball and twigs crackers but one by one things happened and it was Kip and Erin coming so they recruited Erin's sister Evelyn and her family. The kids played and played while the boys watched some football and the girls chatted away. The ball dropped before we knew it and then we were all ready for bed!
Kashus cruised all over with this push toy. He could pretty much get anywhere he wanted.
