Ode to KT...

Our sweet baby girl went to heaven.  She had a mass on her knee that didn't look good so our family had to make a tough decision.  She carried our family through the good times and some challenging times.  She checked on each one of us and made sure we were all in bed before she would go to bed.  She taught Scout the tricks of the trade.  She was one amazing girl.  We miss her and think of her all the time.

Trick or Treating

We started out pounding the pavement with Aunt Mel!  Her neighborhood gives out good treats.  We hit a few streets and then Daddy and Colton picked us up and we headed out to Ten Mile Church for the Trunk or Treat.  It was a great night and everybody had there fill of candy.

Reed Elementary Halloween Party 02.28.2012

The Red Power Ranger had a party at Reed Elementary School.  This was my first time getting to be in Colton's classroom with him.  I was amazed.  Maestra Ramos spoke to Colton in Spanish and he would respond back in English.  But he seemed to understand everything she was saying.  I just followed his lead.  We played pumpkin bowling and painted skeletons to prepare for Dia de Muertos. Posted by Picasa

CLC Halloween party 10.28.2012

Scooby doo and wonder woman had a Halloween party at Christ Lutheran Preschool.  It was so much fun to be able to participate. We made some lantern's and read a spooky story.  Jace is the only little boy in his class. Posted by Picasa

Sugar Cookies, Round 2! 10.25.2012

Time to Frost!  We invited Brooks over to help.  Nothing says love like a sugar cookie with an entire bottle of sprinkles on it.Posted by Picasa

Y Ball 10.25.2012

On to Hoops!  I can't wait.  I love watching basketball.  Colton did great.  He hustled and tried hard.  He made a basket too.  We do need to work on the passing thing though... He is kind of a black hole, just like his Momma!Posted by Picasa

Sugar Cookie Time 10.24.2012

I LOVE baking as much as I love eating what I bake.  I love having kids all over in the kitchen too.  I am starting to feel like we can all "help" in the kitchen and I can account for fingers and toes after the project.  My kids are getting too big!
We have to make messes/projects like this when Dad isn't home though.  He can't handle the explosions of flour very well.  I had originally planned to make and bake and frost the cookies all in a day but we had so much fun we had to split it up because we ran out of time before Dad would come home and clearly... we had a little cleaning up to do.Posted by Picasa

Fall 2012 Football party!

This season was a great one.  The Fall 2012 PeeWee Patriots went undefeated, and we made some really good friends along the way.  Great job to the boys and the Coaches.
