Thanksgiving round 2!

On the way back from Poky we made it just in time for another dinner!  I love turkey.  I could eat it once a week so to eat it twice for a meal and sneak in a turkey sandwich I thought I was in heaven.  But really my kids were in heaven when they got to play at this new park built where I played softball in my glory days.  For all of my high school friends that go home to visit family, Brooklyns Playground at OK ward park is a place you can take the kids to give grandma and pa a little quiet time.  Anyways, here are some pictures of the kiddos.  I didn't get any of turkey dinner but it was scrumptious.

All the boys spinning until they were so dizzy they would fall off.  So much fun to get to see everyone!!

Thanksgiving!

We had a feast of Turkeys this year for Thanksgiving.  The weekend started with a road trip to see the Magruders in Great Falls Montata.  Grandma and Papa met us there so we had a big bunch of family for the big dinner and shopping the next day!  In my opinion there is no better way to celebrate than a big feast of food and family!

We also got to meet Hannah.  This is Jacobs girlfriend.  It is fun to have more girls around because we are usually surrounded by boys.  She took us to see her horse and we all got to ride.

I think Miss Jillian could be our little beauty queen!

Levi is such a great example for my boys.  I wish they could hang out every weekend.  I hope mine grow up to be just like him!  Only maybe not quite as charming... he has a way with the ladies that makes mommies like me nervous.

Gobble, Gobble, Gurkey... we made Turkey's!

Everyone is proud of their turkeys!

A Turkey for my little Turkey!

Colton made an airplane jet turkey.

Jill's turkey was a little bald but she loved it!

Fall Leaves!

There is nothing like watching Brian slave away raking up leaves just to dress my kiddos up in jackets and mittens to go spread them all out again.  Good thing he loves us, because we did it again, and again, and again.  I think he raked those same leaves up about nine times.  Have I already said I love the fall, because I do.

These pictures are so fun and cute but I want you to pay attention to Katy.  She is in the back ground in this picture.  Just notice how black she is.  She has one white spot on her ear and one on her head.

Is he the most scrumptious thing you have ever laid eyes on?  I think so too.

Halloween!

For Halloween we went to our Church to check out the Trunk or Treat festivity!  It was so fun and the kids made out like bandits!  When we got home Colton was still ready for more fun so I took him around the neighborhood.  It was so fun but tricky to keep up with him in my Hans Solo boots!  He slowed down after the first street, and then we went back home to find Jillian in Jammie's loving to hand out candy and boss around all the trick or treaters that came to the door.  She reminded them to use their manners and say Thank You!  Jace was about half way through the chocolate varieties in his bag.  He loves Chocolate!

Neighborhood Harvest Party!

After the big Star wars bash in early October we were still pretty excited about Jedi knights and such so we decided on the Star Wars theme for Halloween.  Jillian was princess Leah, Jace was Yoda, Colton was Luke Skywalker, Daddy was Chewbacca and I was the girl version of Hans Solo.  Everyone seemed to recognize the family costumes except for mine.  I thought it would be a given since I was hanging out with Chewbacca all the time but that's okay.  It was still fun and I loved hearing everyone comment on how cute our little kiddos are.  They loved seeing them all together.  Halloween was on the weekend this year so it felt like we had a weekend full of fun.  We started with our Neighborhood Harvest Party.  There was a bounce house, a cupcake walk and all sorts of things.

I loved Jillian's little pose here.  She has a lot of personality but doesn't show it off like the boys do so when I can catch her personality I love to share it.

Our family above and Colton and Jace at the cake walk below.  Jillian and Colton both won pretty quick and poor little Jace had to persevere through several attempts before Colton won him a cupcake.  All that work and he took one lick of the frosting and was done with it.

Someone had so much fun at the Harvest Party she was able to find a cozy spot on Daddy and doze off on the trek back home.  It was my favorite part of the party.  She was so cute conked out on Brian.
