Colton picked his costume about a month in advance (they go quick at our Costco). He was so happy with it and wore it every weekend in the neighborhood. Every morning leading up to Halloween we had at least three or four superheros running through the streets of the Mountain Gem Estates. He did get to add some accessories to his costume thanks to a birthday present from grandma and papa Dutch. See the red battery pack in his chest. There was a close call though with this costume. His friend Mathew told him he couldn't come to his Halloween party because he had the bad iron man costume and Matt didn't want bad guys at his party. This little misunderstanding was cleared up by Angie, Matt's mom, because she loved comic books growing up so she knows a lot about super hero's. Bad Iron man is all black with no gray. Iron Man American war hero was black with gray and he was a good guy. Whew! However if you asked Colton who he was he would say Iron Man American War Hero. And he did get an invite to the party and had a wonderful time.
